Treasury ETF Rally Points To Safety Trade, Deflation Worries

The advance in long-term Treasury bond ETFs may signal that investors don’t have enough trust in the market to garner a holiday rally, according to an article on ETF Trends. Bond yields and prices move in opposite directions, with the iShares Barclays 20+ Year Treasury Bond Fund (NYSEArca: TLT) yields dropping below 2.9 percent, while its price rose 5 percent last week, the article noted.
