Gold And Silver ETFs Soar On Fed (GLD, IAU, SGOL, SLV, SIVR)

Gold and silver ETFs jumped on Wednesday in response to the Fed’s plan to keep interest rates near zero until mid-2014 and to keep inflation rate at 2 percent per year, according to the Wall Street Sector Selector.

The SPDR Gold Trust ETF (NYSEArca: GLD), the iShares Gold Trust (NYSEArca: IAU), the ETFS Physical Swiss Gold ETF (NYSEArca: SGOL) and the iShares Silver Trust ETF (NYSEArca: SLV) saw gains of more than 2.5 percent, according to the article.
