Ways To Bet On A Rebound In Europe
February 06, 2012
|
Investors may have the perfect opportunity to buy European-focused ETFs, with stock prices remaining low as Europe continues to confront its debt issues, according to an article on the Wall Street Journal. In January, European-ETFs saw gains of 7.4 percent, a reflection of growing investor confidence in the eurozone’s ability to work through its challenges, the Wall Street Journal said. Investors may want to buy into small-cap ETFs, as they tend to have a stronger correlation to economic cycles, the Journal report noted. While there is the opportunity to make a profit, investors will have to endure volatility as Europe continues to battle its debt problems, said the article.
