In an interview with Yahoo Finance, Bill Gross reflects on the performance of Pimco’s recently launched Total Return ETF (NYSEArca: TRXT), arguing that the fund is outperforming many of its passive rivals, according to a blog entry on Barron’s. TRXT has risen 1 percent in the past few weeks, which compares with a 1.2 and 2.3 percent decline, respectively, for its passively managed rivals Vanguard Total Return Bond Market (NYSEArca: BND) and the iShares iBoxx $ Investment Grade Corporate Bond ETF (NYSEArca: LQD) in that same time span, said the Barron’s blog. While TRXT’s performance has been strong thus far, it’s too early to tell just how long its upward momentum will last, the article said. Head over to Barrons.com for additional information. |
