What is the dress code for the conference?
Business attire is a requirement for all visitors to the New York Stock Exchange. No jeans or sneakers are allowed. Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and a collared shirt. Women who are wearing slacks are required to wear a jacket.
What are the security procedures for the New York Stock Exchange?
In response to Occupy Wall Street, at various times police have been placing blockades around the NYSE which require single file pedestrian traffic to their checkpoint. We therefore ask that you please arrive between 7:15am - 7:45am at 2 Broad Street. An external security checkpoint is located at the corner of Wall Street and Broad Street. Security will have an attendee list awaiting the guests’ arrival. Guests must have valid, government-issued photo ID (i.e., driver’s license, passport) and be included on the list in order to gain access to the building. Once through the external checkpoint, they will proceed to the 2 Broad Street entrance. Guests will then go through airport-type security upon entrance to the building. Once cleared, guests will be greeted by members of the event staff and escorted to the registration desk to receive conference credentials.
NYSE security is not set up to accommodate in/out requests during the day, and guests are expected to remain in the conference space at all times during their visit.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you are unable to attend, you may request a substitute delegate at no extra charge by notifying us in writing.
Should you completely cancel, a $200 administration fee will be charged and we must receive a written notice of your cancellation by November 8, 2011. No cancellation refunds/requests will be accepted after November 8, 2011. In the event of the conference being cancelled, IndexUniverse.com assumes no liability for nonrefundable transportation costs, hotel accommodations or any additional costs incurred by registrants.
IndexUniverse reserves the right to alter the agenda without notice including the substitution or cancellation of speakers and/or topics.
Please contact Allison Jones at ajones@indexuniverse.com or 415-659-9012 with any questions.
How will continuing education hours be credited?
We will be collecting CFP numbers from attendees at the conference and will submit those hours on your behalf.
We will also have the appropriate CIMA form on site at the event for you to return to their organization as proof of your attendance to submit the hours.
Can I register onsite on the day of the conference?
No. We must provide New York Stock Exchange security with a list of all our guests in advance of the event date. This event has also sold out in both previous years and we anticipate another sellout in advance of the event date.
