Vineer Bhansali

Geetesh Bhardwaj is a director at SummerHaven Index Management. He researches and creates innovative commodities indexes focused on providing investors with better risk-adjusted returns than traditional commodities indexes. Prior to joining SummerHaven, Bhardwaj worked as a senior economist at Vanguard. He earned a Ph.D. in economics from Rutgers University.

David Blitzer

David Blitzer, is managing director and chairman of the Standard & Poor's Index Committee. He has overall responsibility for security selection for S&P's indexes, and index analysis and management. Blitzer previously served as chief economist for S&P and corporate economist at The McGraw-Hill Companies, S&P's parent corporation. A graduate of Cornell University, he received his M.A. in economics from George Washington University and his Ph.D. in economics from Columbia University.

Sal Gilbertie

Sal Gilbertie is the president, chief investment officer and co-founder of Teucrium Trading LLC. A commodities and derivatives trader for nearly three decades, he helped to create the OTC financial market for ethanol and ethanol swaps that are used today on the Chicago Board of Trade. Gilbertie graduated from Fairfield University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in business management and began his career shortly afterward at Cargill.

Jonathan Guyer

Jonathan Guyer is the chief investment officer of Longview Funds Management LLC and chief index analyst at Longview Strategic Research. From 2001 to 2006, he was the director of the alternative investment group of Legg Mason; he joined Longview in May 2006. Prior to that, Guyer was the head of the proprietary hedge fund group at Alex. Brown & Sons. He received a B.S. in business administration from University of North Carolina Wilmington.

Paul Kaplan

Paul Kaplan, CFA, is the director of research for Morningstar Canada. Prior to assuming this role, he was vice president of quantitative research for Morningstar. Before joining Morningstar in 1999, Kaplan was vice president of Ibbotson Associates and served as the firm's chief economist and director of research. He holds a bachelor's degree from New York University and a master's degree and doctorate in economics from Northwestern University.

David Krein

David Krein is senior director of product development and analytics for Dow Jones Indexes, where he guides the research and development of new and enhanced indexes and benchmarks, and is responsible for the analytical capabilities that support client objectives. Prior to joining Dow Jones Indexes, Krein was president of DTB Capital, a firm he founded in 2006. Krein holds an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

John Mulvey

John Mulvey is a professor of operations research and financial engineering at Princeton University and a founding member of its Bendheim Center for Finance. He is a leading expert on advanced portfolio optimization models and applications, and his recent work focuses on alternative investments. In 2010, Mulvey co-founded the investment firm DPT Capital Management, for which he currently serves as chairman. He has edited five books and published over 130 scholarly papers.
