David Blitzer is the chairman of the S&P 500 Index Committee and a member of Standard & Poor's Investment Policy Committee and Economic Forecast Council. He previously served as corporate economist at McGraw-Hill and as senior economic analyst with National Economic Research Associates. He is the author of Outpacing the Pros: Using Indices to Beat Wall Street's Savviest Money Managers, McGraw-Hill, 2001.

 
  Timothy Collins is a founding associate of Fairfield Advisors, an investment management firm. Previously, Tim was involved in the introduction of European-based ETFs while at Spear, Leeds and Kellogg, and later at Goldman Sachs. He has more than 15 years of financial experience with an expertise in alternative assets and indexation. Collins received an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
 
 

George Daniels, Jr., is senior portfolio manager of the Dow Jones Global Portfolio Index Funds and chairman/CEO of Global Index Advisors, Inc. Daniels has served as an investment management consultant to both defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans since 1966. He has served in positions at Sperry Rand Corporation, IBM, Reynolds Securities, Dean Witter, The Robinson-Humphrey Company and The Quantidex Group.

 
 

Jeremy Held is the national sales manager for exchange-traded products at ALPS Mutual Funds Services, Inc., a Denver-based firm specializing in mutual fund administration and distribution. Jeremy has been actively involved in the promotion of ETFs since 1996. He currently heads the sales team for the Select Sector SPDRs. Jeremy received a B.S. in international business from the University of Colorado.

 
  Matthew Hougan is assistant editor of the Journal of Indexes and a contributing writer for IndexUniverse.com and the Exchange-Traded Funds Report. Prior to joining JoI, Matt directed the internal communications effort at Genzyme Corporation and worked as a biotech analyst for MetaMarkets.com. Hougan, a 1998 graduate of Bowdoin College, lives on the coast of Maine.
 
  James Lauder is the chief operating officer of Global Index Advisors, Inc., and led the design and development of the Dow Jones Target Date Indexes. Lauder joined Global Index Advisors in 2002 after holding consulting and management positions at KPMG, SunTrust and AmSouth. Lauder has an MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University and a B.S. in finance from the Mitchell College of Business at the University of South Alabama.
 
  Ranga Nathan is a principal at InvestMatrix, a consulting firm specializing in structuring index and alternative investment products, including hedge funds and ETFs. Previously, he was co-founder and managing director of PowerShares, and worked on the development of equity and fixed-income ETFs at Nuveen. He has a masters in business and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
 
  Brad Zigler formerly served as head of marketing, education and research for the Pacific Exchange and Barclays Global Investors. Zigler is a founding member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals Education Committee, and has contributed to theStreet.com, MarketWatch.com, Institutional Investor, Financial Planning, CRB Trader, Mutual Funds and Registered Rep.
