CBOE Names New President/COO CBOE Holdings kicked off November with the announcement that President and COO Edward Joyce was resigning due to medical reasons. Edward Tilly, the company’s executive vice chairman, was named as his successor, according to the press release.
Tilly became executive vice chairman in August 2006. Previously, he was the CBOE member vice chairman, the press release said.
Joyce became president and COO of CBOE Holdings in June 2000, according to the press release. Prior to that, he was the executive vice president of business development.
McIsaac Made Head Of Vanguard Institutional Group Pensions & Investments reported in November that Vanguard had placed Christopher McIsaac at the head of its Institutional Investor group, succeeding Greg Barton. McIsaac also was to takeover leadership of Vanguard’s full-service institutional business from Barbara Fallon-Walsh, the article noted.
McIsaac is a Vanguard principal who previously led the company’s Portfolio Review group, P&I said. That group is now headed by Sean Hagerty.
Barton and Fallon-Walsh were scheduled to retire at the end of 2011, the article said.
