NYSE Arca Listing All Vanguard ETFs

The Vanguard Group ETFs have found a common exchange home. All Vanguard ETFs are now listing and trading on NYSE Arca, due to the NYSE's acquisition of the American Stock Exchange. NASDAQ Moves Into Commodities Indexing

The NASDAQ's indexing unit has launched three new commodities-related global benchmarks, as well as a global biotech index. The NASDAQ OMX Global Biotechnology Index (Nasdaq: QGBI) seems the best timed, since biotech has been a hot sector. Commodities have been pummeled of late, but the NASDAQ OMX Global Coal Index (Nasdaq: QCOL); NASDAQ OMX Global Steel Index (Nasdaq: QSTL); and NASDAQ OMX Global Gold & Precious Metals Index (Nasdaq: QGLD) help the exchange's long-term strategy of broadening its global sector reach. PowerShares has launched ETFs covering the new indexes.
