Nasdaq President Leaves For Singapore

In a widely anticipated move, the Nasdaq OMX Group announced in July that Magnus Bocker would be stepping down as the company’s president on Sept. 2.

Bocker will be joining the Singapore Exchange Limited as chief executive beginning in December.

He was named president of Nasdaq after it merged with the OMX Group last February. Two current Nasdaq executives, Bruce Aust and Anna Ewing, will assume Bocker’s responsibilities.
