The Claymore CEF Index-Linked GS Connect ETN provides a way for investors to gain broad-based exposure to a porfolio of CEFs that meet a predefined set of criteria. The underlying Index for this ETN is the Claymore CEF Index (the “Index”). The Index seeks to track the overall performance of a portfolio of closed-end funds (each, a “CEF”) that meet certain liquidity, income and market valuation criteria, among other factors.
