Asia mixed on Chinese cash crunch; Europe advances on falling Spanish bond yields; U.S. futures signal higher opening on further policy to deal with the euro debt crisis.

● Asian stock indexes were mixed as China moves to deal with its cash crunch.
● The Nikkei weakened 0.16 percent; Shanghai Composite increased 0.54 percent; Hang Seng slipped 0.02 percent; S&P/ASX 200 rose 0.44 percent; KOSPI eased 0.16 percent.
Europe
● European stock indexes increased as yields on Spanish bonds fell at a bond auction today and as European leaders meet to discuss further methods of tackling the euro-area debt crisis. Look for volatility in the Vanguard MSCI Europe ETF (NYSEArca: VGK).
Domestic
● U.S. stock futures indicated a higher opening as investors believed that European leaders would enact policy that dealt with the euro debt crisis.

Gold and Silver Advance
● Gold increased 0.23 percent, or $3.73, to $1624.23. Expect slight advances in the SPDR Gold Shares physical bullion ETF (NYSEArca: GLD).
● Silver rose 0.37 percent, or $0.11, to $28.90. Look for modest improvements in the iShares Silver Trust (NYSEArca: SLV).
WTI and Brent Oil Strengthen
● The September contract for WTI crude oil increased 0.65 percent, or $0.62, to $96.59 per barrel.
● The October contract for Brent crude oil improved 0.59 percent, or $0.69, to $114.37 per barrel.
● Expect advances in both the United States Oil Fund (NYSEArca: USO) and in the United States Brent Oil Fund (NYSEArca: BNO).
