iShares Files For Multi-Asset ETF-Of-ETFs
iShares recently filed for an ETF that will invest in other ETFs across a broad range of asset classes. The iShares Morningstar Multi-Asset High Income Index Fund is designed to cover 20 percent equities, 60 percent fixed income and 20 percent REITs and preferred stock via ETFs. The fund will track an index provided by Morningstar. As of the end of 2011, the benchmark included 11 component ETFs. The filing did not mention a ticker or expense ratio.
