Pimco launched its second exchange-traded fund, with the debut of the Pimco 1-5 Year U.S. TIPS Index Fund (NYSEArca: STPZ). STPZ is the first ETF to focus on the short-term TIPS marketplace. Studies show that short-term TIPS have higher correlations to inflation than broad-market TIPS, such as those captured by the popular iShares Barclays TIPS Bond Fund (NYSEArca: TIP). |
