[Dow Jones Indexes] Very Small-Cap UK Index Launched September 14, 2009 4:03 am

Dow Jones has debuted a new index designed to capture the small- and micro-cap segments of the UK marketplace. The new Dow Jones Smaller Companies Index holds 188 companies trading on the London Stock Exchange, including the Alternative Investment Market. The index captures only names in the bottom 3% of market capitalisation.
