Osmosis Investment Management today launched its Climate Solutions ETF on the London Stock Exchange. The new fund tracks the Osmosis Climate Solutions Index of 100 global companies that derive over half of their revenues from activities “focused on the efficient use of natural resources and the mitigation of climate change.” The index has quite a balanced exposure across sectors (energy efficiency and management, low carbon energy, and water, waste and pollution) and regions (North America, Europe and Asia). Stocks are screened by average trading volumes and must have a market capitalisation of over US$100 million. In a press release, Ben Dear, Partner at Osmosis Investment Management, said: “We are launching the Index and the ETF in response to investor demand for accessible, well-structured investment products which address the challenging issues of a transitioning economy.” The Climate Solutions ETF is physically replicated and has an annual management fee of 0.7%.
