IndexUniverse Announces 2012 IU Live Webinar Series Format


Capitalizing on its analytical expertise and editorial independence, IndexUniverse is proud to provide investors with two types of educational webinars: the Alpha/Beta ETF Series and the ETF Expert Series. These 60-minute webinars provide advisors with access to ETF experts, current ETF trends and real-world investment applications for ETFs. Our U.S. webinars have, on average, drawn more than 1,000 registrants per event, of which 89 percent are investors.

  1. The Alpha/Beta ETF Series brings together the strategic expertise of leading investors and the in-depth ETF analysis only available at IndexUniverse. The sessions kick off with either a presentation by a leading advisor/investor or a discussion among the panelists and an IndexUniverse representative, covering a particularly interesting area of the market (emerging markets, municipal bonds, etc.). The presentation/discussion examines the topic from fundamental and tactical perspectives.

    IndexUniverse’s top editorial staff then reviews and evaluates all available ETFs offering exposure to that asset class. The final 30 minutes of the webinar features an interactive Q&A with the panelists, as well as questions from the attendees.

  2. The ETF Expert Series is the latest installment of educational webinars from IndexUniverse. The Expert Series is designed to expose advisors to more complex investment principles (use of levered and inverse ETFs, construction of factor-based indexes, etc.). The Expert Series starts with a 30- to 40-minute presentation by a leading subject matter expert. This is followed by an interactive Q&A session.

Our live webinars are typically approved by the CFA Institute, CFP Board and IMCA for 1 hour of CE Credit.

Our on-demand webinars have also been approved by the CFP Board for 1 hour of Self-Study CE Credit.
